The association has long felt the need to set up district chapters in order to connect with Naga entrepreneurs across the state, Eastern Mirror reported.

The district chapters will include five coordinators representing the service, manufacturing, agriculture, education and commerce sectors.

It had also organized one-day entrepreneurship awareness programs in the two districts in partnership with the MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Dimapur and the Ministry of MSMEs.

Speaking as DC Tseminyu’s main guest, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, said that he aspires for the newly established district to be developed as a model district and business center.

He urged entrepreneurs to be responsible borrowers and repay loans on time.

Taliwati Longchar, co-director of the MSME Development Institute, delivered the keynote address and presented the briefing on MSME programs. (KNN Office)
