Small entrepreneurs contribute significantly to Fiji’s growth

Today, an additional 1,527 micro and small businesses in Labasa were delighted to receive their $ 1,000 grants for micro and small businesses.

During the disbursement of the grants, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Faiyaz Koya, told the recipients that they are the micro and small business grants sector, the backbone of the Fijian economy.

Koya told the 1,527 recipients that their commitment and passion to move their business forward is contributing significantly to the growth of Fiji.

The event marks the 40th phase of disbursement since 2015 – and the 2nd disbursement to Labasa this week.
