Vientiane (VNA) – Vietnam Business Association in VientianeLaos, held its first congress for the 2022-2027 term on July 1.
It was one of the practical activities in response to Vietnam-Laos Year of Solidarity and Friendship 2022.
Established under the direction of the Embassy of Vietnam in Laos and under the direction of the Vietnamese Business Association for Cooperation and Investment in Laos (BACI), the association brings together Vietnamese companies in Vietnam and Vietnamese Overseas (OV) companies that operate in the provinces of Vientiane and Xaysomboun, and the capital Vientiane.
It should contribute concretely to the socio-economic development of Laotian localities in particular, and to economic cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general.
In his speech at the event, the newly elected chairman of the Vietnam Business Association, Nguyen Xuan Ha, pledged that the organization would deploy its directions and actions in the best way to protect the interests of its members.
The association seeks to help each member to develop their business effectively, thus contributing to the strengthening of Vietnam – Laos relations, he said./.
